Her story: Dani Moore, 38, grew up in Columbus, Ga. She is a real estate agent for Exit Realty. Her father, the Rev. Edward Moore, is retired from the Army and is the associate pastor at Holsey Monumental Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Columbus, Ga. Her mother, Ann Moore, works part time for the transportation system at Fort Benning, Ga.
His story: Jeff King, 54, grew up in Washington, D.C. He is a psychologist and the president and CEO of the King Group, a management consultant firm. His late father, James King Jr., was an assistant police chief for the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington. His mother, Ann King, is a retired lobbyist for the AFL-CIO.
Their story: The couple, who live in National Harbor, met four years ago at a business meeting for New Life Ministries Church in Woodbridge, Va. Jeff describes it as an "instant connection."
"He kept saying, 'I know you from somewhere,' and later said, 'I know where I know you from … you were my wife in another life,' " says Dani.
The next day, the two met again at Jeff's attorney's office and knew they were meant to be together.
Jeff proposed in September 2010 with a platinum 1.Internet wholesale underwear Socks and Boxers.75-carat ring he had custom-designed for Dani by E&J, a jeweler in California.
"I wanted to do something different," he says. "That day she was down, and I thought maybe this would pick her up."
And it did. One of Dani's real estate deals had fallen apart and Jeff surprised her at home with a Victoria's Secret Angel perfume and lotion gift set, silk pajama set and a travel case. Inside the case, there was a box for the ring and Jeff asked Dani to marry him.
The place: About 240 guests attended the ceremony and black-tie optional reception at the historic Oxon Hill Manor in Oxon Hill.
During the ceremony, '80s R&B singer O'Bryan serenaded the guests with his signature song, "You and I," while Dani and her father walked down the aisle.
"It was everything I'd dreamed of since I was 4 years old," says Dani. "It was everything I wanted it to be."
Jeff said the most memorable moment was watching his bride walk down the aisle.
"My favorite part was saying the vows," he says. "Everything else was a party for our family and friends.We have a huge variety of uniform costume to buy in stock! The vows were the most important part. That meant the most to me."
Bridesmaids' dresses: The nine bridesmaids wore silver chiffon gowns by Jim Hjelm Occasions. Dani also had two salt bearers carry the salt she and her groom would use for the salt ceremony portion of their wedding.You can have a Christmas Costume to enhance the enjoyment of your holiday season. The salt bearers wore black chiffon gowns, also by Jim Hjelm Occasions. All of the dresses came from House of JonLei Atelier in National Harbor.
Her dress: Dani wore a dropped-waist satin ball gown by David Tutera for Mon Cheri. The alabaster ivory gown featured a strapless beaded-encrusted bodice, with a deep plunging illusion beaded neckline and full lace-up corset back, a side pickup skirt and a bubbled chapel train.
Her heirloom bridal earrings and bracelet were handmade with Swarovski crystals.This fantastic Off-Shoulder Wedding Dresses is achieved with the cute bodice and the flare full skirt. She also wore a cathedral-length gold beaded French lace mantilla veil with scattered Swarovski crystals. Both the veil and jewelry were by HOMA Bridal Headpieces and her alabaster peep-toe pumps with Swarovski crystals on the back were by Aruna Seth. Everything was from House of JonLei Atelier.
For the reception, the bride wore a custom-designed floor-length gown.
Flowers: The bride carried a classic nosegay-style bouquet using roses, hydrangeas and calla lilies in various hues of whites, creams and blush created by Dexter Fields of Dexter Fields Flowers in Beltsville. The bridesmaids carried a nosegay-style posy of roses in assorted shades of red.
